Why is my growth hormone low and my IGF-1 normal?

Question from Alex: Why is my growth hormone low and my IGF-1 normal?

Answer: HgH lower than 0.10 is indeed not measurable.
Anything below 4.8 is good.
An adult should have almost no growth hormone left.
This test is used at our facility only by people who administer growth hormone.
So it means that you are no longer growing.
For the IGF 1 is different, this hormone must be produced by a normal healthy person and its value should be between 10.8 - 30.2.
See attached a graph showing the standard deviation of this test.
