Blood collection in your area
You will receive a letter for the corresponding lab technician(s) and the opening hours of the blood collection point by mail. If you would like a different blood collection point than the one we have suggested, you can always email or call. With the blood collection kit you can take a blood sample at one of the blood collection points in your neighborhood. You will receive the necessary materials for your chosen test, a letter with instructions on how to send the blood by mail and the (prepaid) shipping material (according to the legal guidelines) for return to the laboratory.

Your test is anonymous and only for you
Blood test never passes on your results to an insurer or (family) physician. You will receive the blood tubes at the address you provide, they have a barcode that communicates with your test, but it is not traceable by anyone, only by the lab system. The results are sent exclusively to the email address you provide.

How old do you have to be to order a test?

Anyone aged 18 years or older may take a blood test. For children under 18 please contact us by phone (085 - 065 37 47) or by mail (info@bloodtesting.nl)

Is it anonymous?

Bloodtesting.nl never sends your results to the insurance company or your doctor. You will receive the blood tubes at the address you provided, they have a barcode that communicates with your test, but nobody can find out what is being tested, only the lab system. The results will only be sent to the email address you provide. You can also place the order under another name.

I have ordered a test, what now?

When ordered before 11 am, your custom made test kit will be shipped the same day. So you do not have to stay at home. In the meantime, you will be connected to a clinic by our appointments office. You will receive an invitation and referral letter by email.

Do I have to be sober for the shot?

For the food intolerance tests you do not need to be sober. The food intolerance is measured over the past few months and is not a snapshot. However, if you have not eaten a certain type of food in the past few months, these antibodies will not show up in the test. If, for example, you do not eat any milk products, the result with regard to milk products will not be representative.

I took a blood sample. Now what?

You put the tubes filled with blood in the provided medical mailing material and put it in the mail. You can do this in your orange mailbox or you can drop it off at a PostNL service point. Because of the packaging it becomes medical mail, this goes just like e.g. funeral mail a separate route which is much faster than regular mail. You do not need to frank the mail, we have already done that for you. When it is extremely hot/cold we recommend to put the tubes in the mailbox just before the PostNL pickup time or to drop them off at a PostNL service point for mailbox mail. Keep blood at room temperature.

How do I receive my results?

You will receive your results in a PDF document by email. In case of an extremely low or high result of a determination, for which immediate medical intervention is desirable, you will be contacted for consultation, before you receive the result. In case of medical complaints you should always consult your (general) practitioner. The result will be accompanied by an explanation. You can always call our customer service for an explanation of the test, to discuss follow-up testing. It is also possible to book a consultation with a therapist who knows everything about nutrition and intestinal problems. In case of too many intolerances it is not wise to start working with the results yourself, because then there is a risk of deficiencies. It is best to book a consultation with one of our collaborating dieticians who know everything about this test and how to deal with it after the results.
