Losing weight after the transition

Question from Feline: I have been menopausal since I was 39 and for about 3 years my periods have been completely gone. I am now 44. All the menopause symptoms are gone by now but it's harder and harder to fight the pounds and feel like I'm gaining weight from the air already.
I am 5'7" and weigh 80 pounds now, about 9 pounds heavier than before. I would very much like to have a blood test to find out where my problems lie.
My doctor says that my hormones are resetting and I need to be patient, but I don't have that because I don't feel happy with this weight. Thyroid is fine he did have it tested.
I teach sports lessons and also exercise very intensively 2x a week. Condition is fine.
What is the best thing to have done and how does it work?

A: The best thing to do is to take this test:https://www.bloodtesting.nl/insidetracker-ultimate.html
Then, if you take the dashboard with it (in English) you also get advice on how to improve hormones and blood levels.

You can also monitor and improve your real age if you take innerage with it (no extra blood test needed, just a more comprehensive dashboard).
